Christian Dance Fellowship S.A. came into existence in 1990 and the Formation scripture :
Luke 4 v 18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.

Christian Dance Fellowship South Africa(CDFSA) is an Interdenominational fellowship involved in establishing and maintaining a standard in area of dance and creative movement. It also endeavours to build the bridges between the trained and untrained dancer, by hosting workshops, conferences, resources for the encouragement and fellowship of every believer that desires to express their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through dance and creative movement.
